OBITUARY INFORMATION: Ralph Jacob Winczewski
 
            Ralph Jacob Winczewski was born the son of Clarence and Sylvia (Mrozek) Winczewski on Friday, August 31, 1928 in Appleton, Minnesota.
 
            Ralph grew up and attended schools in Little Falls, Minnesota. His family moved to Oregon in the 1940’s where he finished his schooling graduating from Central Catholic High School in Portland. Ralph became a truck driver and drove milk trucks for several different companies. He did many home deliveries and then on to stores and hospitals. Ralph enjoyed fishing, playing golf and raising his wonderful garden at his home. He was an active member in his church and was a member of Knights of Columbus for many years. Ralph’s first wife Margaret died in 1987. On June 17, 1989 he married Carol Milroy and they made their home in Newberg.   
            On Sunday, January 8, 2012, Ralph Jacob Winczewski died at a local care facility when he was eighty-three years, four months and eight days of age.
 
            Surviving and left to honor his life are: His wife Carol; two sons, Michael F. and Daniel Winczewski both of Portland; three daughters, Patricia Menezes of Eugene, Julie Winczewski of Portland and Margaret “Peggy Sue” Winczewski of Tacoma, Washington; two sisters, Mary Light of Tacoma, Washington and Carol Haglund of St. Paul, Minnesota seven step-children; 19 step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild and those who have come to know and appreciate him where he has lived and worked. Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
 
            His Funeral Mass will be Friday, January 13, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Peter Catholic Church, Newberg with Father Don Gutmann officiating. Chapel Viewing and Visitation hours are Thursday, January 12, from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Attrell’s Newberg Funeral Chapel. Recitation of the Rosary will be Thursday, January 12, at 7:00 p.m. in Attrell's Newberg Funeral Chapel, a Golden Rule funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.attrells.com
